Design concept
The client wanted a home that felt calm by day and quietly dramatic by night. Rather than decorate towards that, we made light itself the material of the project.
Every ceiling was redrawn as a sculpted plane. Recessed coves, linear channels and stepped coffers carry concealed LED lines, so each room changes character entirely between daylight and evening.
The palette stays deliberately neutral, soft greys, warm beige and pale timber, so the architecture of light reads clearly. Colour arrives in measured doses through art, wine toned cushions and olive accents.
Scope of work
- Full interior design and execution
- Living rooms, dining, bedrooms and stair lobby
- Lighting design throughout
- Furniture, art and styling

Outcome
The Artefact Home shows what a disciplined lighting concept can do for a family home. The duplex photographs like a suite of gallery rooms, yet every scene is a living space first, comfortable, practical and easy to inhabit.
